The Academy has worked in partnership with the Cambridge City Council Sports Development team for many years, particularly supporting the CitySport programme. To celebrate the London 2012 Open Weekend, the City Council opened the Corn Exchange to the public, offering a range of free sports and arts taster sessions.
The Academy was invited to showcase Canne de Combat. Six members took part: Ollie Batts, Julie Gabriel, Morgan Alexander Bob Marrah, Agnes Aubert and Stu McIntyre. We put on two demonstrations and offered one-to-one sessions with interested members of the public. See our photo and video are available on this website.
